Opacity Testing
- Opacity testing is mandated by C.A.R.B. (CA Air Resource Board).
- Opacity meters test the particulates and smoke exiting from Diesel trucks.
- This test is to be performed every year within any 12 month period of the year.
- JTD is a mobile service which comes out to your location, performs 3 tests per unit.
- We then provide a 3 page printout to be kept on file for at least 2 years.
- If any unit fails the Opacity test, JTD also provides free retesting upon repair.
- We are priced very competitively and give fleet discounts.
- The Company, JTD Under Pressure, are not mechanics nor do we work for the State.
